environmental stewardship
As we prepare for the Estepona500, a historic endurance rally like no other, we remain committed to environmental stewardship. Although classic cars account for just a small fraction of total transportation carbon emissions, our goal is to minimize our ecological impact.
We are thrilled to introduce the ECO program by Hagerty. This groundbreaking initiative allows vehicle owners and enthusiasts to accurately calculate their driving's carbon footprint and take effective steps to offset it. ECO represents the first phase of the Hagerty Impact strategy, which aims to educate and empower our community to drive positive change in various social and environmental areas.
Using the ECO program, we calculahe type of vehicle, driving habits, and fuel consumption. This calculation helps determine the number of trees needed to absorb the carbon emitted, and our partners at Chrome Carbon will plant these trees on behalf of all participants.
By participating in Estepona500, we will support tree planting initiatives, effectively neutralizing the carbon footprint generated during our event. The Estepona500 will offset approximately 22,470 pounds of CO2 and result in 455 trees being planted through Chrome Carbon.

PRELIMINARY EVENT SCHEDULE
Estepona500 is a symphony of endurance and skill, not speed, emphasizing the durability of vehicles and the consistent teamwork of the crew. This is a regularity rally with a twist, set against the enchanting backdrop of Andalusia.
Day 1
THE EXCITEMENT BEGINS
SCRUTINEERING & DOCUMENTATION
Awaken in Estepona to the electric atmosphere of our rally's commencement. This day buzzes with the energy of scrutineering and documentation, reaching a crescendo with an official presentation featuring a special guest appearance by the mayor. After the morning's formalities, teams are free to relax in the afternoon, building up excitement and enjoy Estepona and its oldtown. As the evening unfolds, immerse yourself in an intimate, informal dinner nestled in the charming, historic streets of Estepona, a perfect backdrop for companionship and shared enthusiasm.
Day 2
THE HEART-PUMPING FIRST STAGE | 210KM
Feel the adrenaline as we kick off from Estepona's picturesque Paseo Maritimo. Navigate the lush landscapes of Casares and Gaucin, en route to Europe's end tip and captivating coastline. A tasty lunch awaits in a quaint beach town, punctuating a day filled with varied challenges and timed sections that will put your skills to the test. Conclude this exhilarating day with the intriguing task of finding your night's accommodation.
Day 3
THE MESMERIZING SECOND STAGE | 180KM
The rally hits its stride amidst the awe-inspiring Parque Natural Sierra de Grazalema. Dive into nature's masterpiece, traversing striking mountains and serene valleys. Enjoy a culturally rich lunch near Arcos de la Frontera, here, navigate a series of challenges before reaching the day's zenith in historic Ronda, perched atop dramatic cliffs. Then be open for your last challenge of the day, selecting your lodging in this picturesque city.
Day 4
THE GRAND FINALE | 110KM
Embark on a reflective journey south on our final leg, reminiscing about the rally's adventures. Relish a short lunch in a charming Andalusian village, followed by challenges that enhance your skills and spirit. The rally's crescendo awaits back in Estepona with a vibrant farewell dinner and awards ceremony, a fitting celebration of our journey and triumphs.
